I am having identical twin boys and i want to name them Dominique Jesus and damitri Jesus. how do they sound?

I love both names. Call your kids whatever makes you happy. There is nothing wrong with Jesus as a name, I actually think its really cool. No one will tease them because hopefully your kids would have been brought up well and have the courage to report such atrocities so that the proper authorities can handle any ignorant bullying kids :)

Eeek please don't..and they deserve different last names! Come on now.
Reply:I would definately pick different middle names. The only way I consider that name okay is if you are hispanic and are pronouncing is 'hey-sues', and even then, I don't like it.

As for the first names, they're good names, but I would spell them Dimitri and Dominic. Dominique is supposed to be pronounced like 'Dom-in-eek', which is a girls name.
Reply:If you have a hispanic surname, then "jesus" is not an uncommon name. But if not, I'd be wary of giving children names based on your own religious beliefs, if that is the reason for the names. They will be individuals and I don't think it's right to impose your beliefs onto them as their very names. And Dominique is the feminine spelling--go with Dominic instead because that's the masculine spellling. Dimitri is not a common name either. Get some name books--I read those every single night while pregnant--and make sure you choose a name that can grow with the boy. Remember that someday, he will be 65 years old and still have the name you gave him. Good luck!!
Reply:Are yoo a religious person? Anyway keep the domonique but spell it as domonic. plz dont use the others they will get bullied i no im 13 and so does my best friend shes 14! good luck xx
Reply:I have twin boys who are not identical. Most people can't tell them apart. I don't think it's wise to give them the same initials. It could be confusing in school and later in life when they have the same birth date face and initials. why not name one Dominique and the other Jesus. I try as hard as I can to make sure that my boys feel like individuals and not interchangeable. My boys are named Lucious and Santino. My husband and i each named one.
Reply:Terrible although i do respect people and religion ..do you have to bring it into your kids names ..bullying comes to mind
Reply:I don't think you should name them Jesus, thats not right, I'm having identical boys as well, Dominique sounds like a girls name, sorry!
Reply:I think they sound kind of low class... but thats just my opinion. They're your kids, name them what you want.
Reply:I don't really like the sound of those names, but who am I to tell? If you like those name, then that's your choice, but please remember that your kids will grow up and go to school and maybe get bullied because of those names.

Good luck!
Reply:is it weird for them to have same middle name I think it is a lil weird and they will have the same initals
Reply:You sound as though you come from a religious background, choosing such names. I have an uncle called moses, we dont think any different of him. I think both the boys names are beautiful though as mentioned dominique is feminine. Boys get called Peter, Luke, matthew and nothing gets said. Why worry about Jesus? There is some literature regarding the origin of the name jesus and was suggested to be derived from the name Yahshua.

Any name that is not 'the norm' aka william, henry etc your sons will stand out from the crowd, be aware of that.
Reply:I think you better change that Jesus, although i'm religius
Reply:Awww, common don't name your kids Jesus... that's just not right.. the other ones are fine.. but leave the lord out of it
