We are having a son, and we decided that my wife will come up with the first name, and I will come up with the middle name to go with it. She picked out Connor. Help! I am no good at the name thing!

Reply:well why dont u put your name? Ive read/heard/seen that fathers just put their first name for their son's/daughter's middle name.
Reply:When I was pregnant with my son his dad refused to help me with his name - so kudos for trying. If I were you, I'd think about names of relatives that mean a lot to you, your father perhaps or a grandfather (so that the name has significance). Or... you can choose a name that means something to you in your life... for example, my nephew has loved Star Wars all of his life and decided to name his son Lucas (after George Lucas). It may be silly but your son will appreciate a name with a story behind it that he can tell for years. Good luck!

Reply:Consider things that are personal, not only will it be a good name choice but it will most definately impress your wife.





Perhaps a name in your family... your favourite uncle, or your dads name. Also things like your favourite musicians, athlete, or actor would do the job. Just try and think of names that are timeless and not embarassing, pick a few, and present them to your wife. I'm sure you can work it all out. :]
