Do you think Ahmauri is a cute name for a boy?

Some people say Ohmauri but i like the other one better.Which one sounds better?

Do you think Ahmauri is a cute name for a boy?
I guess if I am pronouncing it right. My oldest son name is Amari.
Reply:sounds like amore or something, if you don't think hewill as an adult.
Reply:Isn't there a Phoenix Suns player named Ahmauri Sadermeir? (I don't know how he spells his first or last name, sorry sports fans!) It's an OK name. What are it's origins?
Reply:No it will look like mother like son. he must be Mauri
Reply:I think it is very cute! He will be sure to be a heartbreaker!!
Reply:I think it is cute. but people may be tempted to call hum Maury for short like Maury Povich
Reply:ahmauri
Reply:It is very close to the Hindi word for "cupboard"
Reply:Neither
Reply:i like Ahmauri it's sounds lovely, good choice.

Do you think Wicken is a better name for a boy or a girl?

There is a place called Wicken Fen in England and my niece's cousin thinks it would be a nice name for her baby. I don't know if she is planning to use Fen for the middle name.

Do you think Wicken is a better name for a boy or a girl?
I like Wicken for a boy and Wikka for a girl :)
Reply:Is that as in 'Wicken da Chicken'? Great name for a chicken! They don't care what you call them-----un-like people, who have to be embarrassed by their names all of their lives.

Sounds like some kind of elf or gremlin something.
Reply:im to fond of it!! doesnt sound good for either boy or girl!
Reply:NOOOOooooooooooooooo
Reply:I would have to say neither because Wiccan (spelled differently) is a form of witch craft.
Reply:Honestly, I think that's a horrible name for either. It either sounds like Wicked or Wicca, and I would never name a child after evil or witchcraft. I'd spend more time trying to talk her out of it than trying to decide which gender it goes with. Yikes.
Reply:if you believe in witchcraft...WICCAN- look it up. then go cast a spell or something.
Reply:It is the name of a neo-pagan earth based religion (see Wikipedia on that), so I'm not sure it is a good name for a person. Best check up on that and on the origin of the name of the place in England.
Reply:Its nice...

Isnt your neice's cousin your daughter? Im very confused?
Reply:lol... the slappy tribe?

ha!

i think for a boy!
Reply:Umm, did you ALSO know that Wiccan is a form of witchcraft? I know its spelled differently, but seriously, THINK about this poor kids life..
Reply:I think Wicken is better for a girl.
Reply:it is def different
Reply:i'd say boy. but i wouldn't want to name a kid after a religion though.
Reply:Well I have to be honest and say that I hate it for both, sorry. But I guess, to me, it sounds more like a sucky boy's name than a sucky girl's name. Does that help?
Reply:I wouldn't name my dog that. Change the 'k' to a 'c' and you get an idea (still not the complete spelling) of why that would be one big-time misunderstood name. If my parents named me that, even if they gave the full "Wicken Fen" then the exact moment I was of legal age, I would be standing in line at the court house to change it, I would rather be called Fido or Rover than Wicken, even if I were a caster of spells I wouldn't want that name. Sorry.
Reply:I personally dont like it.
Reply:a Boy.
Reply:No offence hon, But when you use both the names togther, Wicken Fen, sounds like a type of fish chikcy!! Wicken alone sounds pretty cool and wicked to me chicky!!
Reply:I don't like it

It reminds me of Wicca (witchcraft) or Wicked...

but I'd say it sounds more like a boy name.

How about Wynken (from the poem Wynken, Blynken and Nod). I think it sounds better :)
Reply:Could be used for either...but I would say is more suited to a girl
Reply:Wiken is a great name...but I would love it more as a girls name...

Wiken Sorzery would be great!
Reply:I like Wicken as a girls name ... Cora Wicken or Wicken Ray
Reply:It is probably a better name for furniture.
Reply:not to be rude or anything i think its a really weird name, my name is sea(no joke) im a girl and i still dont get why my mum called me that lol so yeah think about the weird names befor u name ur kids.

but i think the name is better for a boy
Reply:a boy. i personally don't care for the name but its ur niece's cousin's decision, not yahoo answers. it has a guy vibe to it.
Reply:I think it could go either way depending on the middle name I guess...it is definitely a name that I have never heard of but really cool...so I think it would be a good name for a girl or a boy! = )
Reply:Wicken... Wicken... Hm.... Maybe it goes better with a girls name, I don't think a boy would like the name Wicken.

Home: Wicken dear, come get your dinner!

School: Wicken, come up to the board.

Famous: OMG IT'S WICKEN!

Food: Lets eat Wicken! I mean Chicken!
Reply:just so you know wicken is also a religion. i should know my friend has a crush on a wicken
Reply:It sounds like an offshoot of the Wicker furniture family.
Reply:Uck! Neither! If you must name something that, make it a goldfish...they wouldn't have to live with it for 100 years.

Is blake more of a girls name or a boys?

most definitely a boy's name.

Is blake more of a girls name or a boys?
Boy. I hate when people use boy's names for girls. You wouldn't call a girl John or Steven would you?! Why is Blake any different? It's people trying to be trendy and different. It's impossible to be original on a planet of 6 billion so I would just use the correct gender names.
Reply:I think that depending on the personality, it can suit either, but let me some it up in one sentence:

I would only give the name of Blake to a boy.

Whether it be Blake Lively or Blake Lewis, I don't care, Blake is just a name for a boy to me.
Reply:I used to think boy.

But now with the stardom of Blake Lively, GG, I think it might be more girly. And now that I think about it, the only boy that I know named Blake turned out to be gay.

Hm.
Reply:Boy's name or a girl named after a family name. Definitely masculine. Not that it matters..it could be used as a girls name. It would be gender-ambiguous to anyone reading it.
Reply:i like it for a girl. have only met boys named blake, but the girl in gossip girl is named blake so i guess its not unheard of. its kinda trendy for a girl i think.

Reply:This is actually my brother's name but I see it as a unisex name as I have heard of females with this name as well such as Blake Lively.
Reply:boys... not a good name, imo, but a boys name nonetheless
Reply:when i first see the name blake i think a boys names , but blake i think would work for a girl to
Reply:I defiatly think it's more of a boy's name but you could try- blayne, or something to go with blake for a girls name
Reply:I have never heard of a girl named Blake. I think it really is more of a boys name...good luck
Reply:Boys, I've never heard of a girl being named Blake. (Not that it's not cute)
Reply:there is the female actress named blake but i think its more of a boy name
Reply:Boy.. I've never heard of it as a girl name and I don't really like it as a girl name.
Reply:Boys, never knew a girl or heard of one with that name.
Reply:I think of it more of a boy name but I think it would be cute for a girl!
Reply:Definitely boy
Reply:Seriously a very manly name
Reply:Both I think!

I think Blayke is more girly.
Reply:I have only heard this name as a boys name!
Reply:i hear blake i think boy
Reply:Blake is all boy.
Reply:Its very masculine, so i say a boy!
Reply:boys name, my little boy Trevors middle name is Blake :)
Reply:only have heard this name for boys
Reply:Boy
Reply:Sounds more like a boy's name
Reply:A boy name

What do you think of this first and middle name for a boy or a girl?

Girl - Elizabeth Rosemary (Rosemary is my husband's grandmother name)

Boy - Matthew Paul (Paul is my maiden name)

What do you think of this first and middle name for a boy or a girl?
yes they are perfectly normal congradulations
Reply:in my opinion it will be both long for the girl or for the boy so try to name your boy or girl with one name so he will be greatfull for you in the future

for the boy you can choose matthew and the nickname will be mat

for the girl you can choose elizabeth and the nickname will be liza
Reply:ahh Rosemary is one of my favourite names!!! love it.

Elizabeth is very classy and nice, what about Elsie as a nickname - more unusual than Lizzy or Beth? Or you could have Eloise Rosemary - that's a very nice combo

Matthew Paul is a very classy very nice name.

good choices!!!
Reply:I think that Elizabeth Rosemary is a bit of a mouthful and that you should have either a long middle or first name but never both. Why don't you consider shorting it to Rose. And Matthew Paul is a very nice boys name. Both Biblical you know. Good luck.
Reply:I like Elizabeth but you should have picked a shorter middle name. I like the boys names and they are normal names. At least you didn't go all gwen stefani and name the boy Zuma
Reply:both are cool, but call mathew matt for short. and elizabeth can be liz, lizzie, betty, or eliza

also i agree that rose is a realy pretty name
Reply:Both Beautiful!!
Reply:Perfectly gorgeous!!
Reply:i think they are both beautiful names! congrats!
Reply:I think that they are both beautiful, classic, and classy names.

Well done!
Reply:I like both names -- good choices!
Reply:Love them both!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:great choice
Reply:i like them both

How is this name for boy or a girl?

Andrew Chad....I like names that kinda confuse people about the sex of the baby. Both of those names are from 2 people that mean a lot to me and aren't going to around for awhile. I know Chad Andrew sounds a little better but my sons middle name is drew. Plus I would call him/her Andy. What do you guys think?

How is this name for boy or a girl?
Andrew Chad r just boy names

Alex-both

Cori-both

christin-both
Reply:boy
Reply:Well, that name wouldn't be very confusing. A more confusing name would be like, Payton, Nicky, or Kay.But those names haven't really been known to be unisex names.

I say, if you want to use those names to honor ones you care for dearly, then go ahead.
Reply:I don't like Andrew for a girl or chad for that matter.

Andrea Charlotte for a girl is pretty. I do like Andrew Chad for a boy though
Reply:I do not think andrew sounds good for a girls name. both Andrew and Chad sound very masculine. It's very cute for a boy name though!
Reply:NO NO NO! I like it for a boy but not for a girl. If a girl had that name she would be called a boy, a he/she or something. Maybe Drew Chad It is like Drew Barrymore. Drew is more like a girl name. but I know like 2,000,000 Andrew's that are boys. Not once in my life have I ever heard of that name on a girl. Please don't name a girl Andrew. how about Andrea or Adrienne.
Reply:I didn't know that Andrew was a girl's name. I have only heard of it for a boy. I don't like Andrew Chad for a girl at all.
Reply:Andrew Chad is most definitely a male name not anywhere near being unisex, which I hate unisex names as well. Why would you want people to be confused about your baby's sex?? That's strange to me.. Anyway, to answer your question this is a horrible name for a girl and even stranger because your son's middle name is already Drew.
