What do you think of this boys name?
most people, if they've never heard of that name before, will pronounce it "kee-an". If you are set on spelling it Kian, then be prepared to make a lot of corrections on mispronunciations. Otherwise, it is a very nice name.
Reply:Well seeing as it's Gaelic (95% think so at any rate) it's pronounced Kee-an not Kai-an. Spell it Kaian if you want it pronounced that way. As someone has said before, it will not be pronounced the way YOU want it to be just because you want it that way.
