Sasha is unpopular in the US as a name for boys, although in many countries it is used exclusively for boys.





I've always liked the name Dai (pronounced like die).
Reply:Look through books of mythology or poems by long gone poets. This is how my daughter came up with my grandchild's name of Kaya... now you hear it everywhere but back then I had never heard of it.





You can also look at other languages and meanings for different words, some are very beautiful.





We had a dog named Tiga, which is 3 in Malay. Don't name your child 3 but this is just an example of how to be creative.





Good for you to not go with the popular names of the day. I think that they stereotype kids and some are just down right ugly names.
